Going Green

Being earth conscious is smart, but it once meant you had to hunt for organic or vegan clothing that didn't make you look like an old, fat hippie. Now, big fashion chains are aware of the consumer appeal of designer earth-friendly products. Even mass-market retailer H&M has an organic cotton line of simple tops. Check out some of the designer labels who started the revolution:

Loomstate
100% Organic Jeans and Tees with great screenprints. Their light grey Horse tee, which retails for $55, is one of my favorites.

Stewart Brown Organics
Organic pioneers. They design sweaters, knit tops, and accessories. Check out their 100% organic Mongolian Cashemere Collection.
